Barber’s deeply emotive Adagio opens this concert before fellow-American composer Jessie Montgomery raises your spirits with her unifying melodies and upbeat rhythms. Beethoven’s String Quartet brings the concert to a light and enjoyable close. Part of the Royal Park Series.
