Living in Lindisfarne near the Esplanade, I get to see and photograph some spectacular sunset displays. In fact I sometimes become so blasé about them that I have trouble summoning up the enthusiasm to get out there and take another photo. But on this occasion the unusual cloud formations overcame any potential lethargy. I sprinted down the cul-de-sac to ensure I was at the water’s edge before the colours disappeared.
